Happy Wednesday!  After a busy week of making up work for sick people (damn this cold!) I've caught up and I'm back to blogging. Seriously, I miss you guys when I don't have the time to blog! 

Only two more weeks until we move into our first home! I can't wait to decorate and post pictures of MY house. Dream come true!

First of all....

Sorry for my absence. I've been crazy busy at work and then I got super sick (still am). But I have some wonderful news! Last week, the hubs and I were approved for a house! We made an offer on an amazing short sale last month, and last week they approved our offer. I can't believe these people are letting us buy a house! I cannot get over my excitement, and I keep dreaming of interior design schemes. We are beyond blessed!

Also, I'm 26 as of two weeks ago. One year closer to 30. Last year I felt horrible turning 25 because I hadn't achieved any of the goals I had unrealistically set for myself as a teen. This year however, I feel amazing about 26! I graduated this past year, hubs and I saved our butts off and bought a house, I have the best job, and now we are trying to start our family. Bring it on, 26!

New Jewelry + One Year Older

I'm so excited! I got my Sira & Mara necklaces in the mail yesterday and I love them so much!!  They are amazingly designed, affordable, and super fashionable! I can't believe I didn't order from them sooner. Now I'm obsessed!

 Well, I'm off to a fancy dinner with my in-laws for my birthday. Yes folks, tomorrow I turn 26 years old. I am officially closer to 30 than 20. I have mixed feelings. On the one hand, I am grateful to be growing older because of the things I'm learning and the exciting changes happening this year. On the other hand, I'm scared of getting older because of the things I'm learning and the changes happening this year. I'm an adult, people! It's scary! I have a grown-up job, and pay bills, and I'm married, and hopefully one day soon I'll have a little person to take care of. Mostly, I am grateful to be alive, grateful to be growing and learning every day, and grateful for the people closest to me.

Moto Jacket

 Oh, it's Monday. Stupid Monday. After a relaxing weekend, I'm back to a busy day at work, which is the last place on earth that I want to be. But thank God, I get to come home to the best husband ever. I feel like I'm falling in love with him all over again. I don't know how that happens, but I'm grateful it does! He does so much for our family of two, and I could never live without him!
